WARSAW WIND ENSEMBLE
COMPOSITION CONTEST 2020
Warsaw Wind Ensemble Composition Contest 2020 was the first edition of the international competition for composers.
The subject of the Contest was to create a premiere composition for a wind orchestra.
The Contest was open – it was addressed to composers of all nationalities.
It was organised in two categories – international and polish.
The Final Gala of the Contest will be held on 5 December 2021 in Warsaw.
The Contest is organised by the Warsaw Wind Music Association and the PWM Edition.

On December 5, 2021 in Ursynów Cultural Center Alternatywy took place the long-awaited Gala Concert of the Warsaw Wind Ensemble Composition Contest 2020. During the Gala Concert there were a première of works composed by the Contest Laureates in both categories, as well as of works by Distinction Winners.

We are pleased to announce the new date of the Gala Concert of the Warsaw Wind Ensemble Composition Contest 2020! The Concert will take place on December 5, 2021 (Sunday) at 7:00 PM in the Ursynów Cultural Center Alternatywy in Warsaw.

Due to the still ongoing COVID-19 epidemic, we are forced to postpone once again the date of the Gala Concert crowning the Warsaw Wind Ensemble Composition Contest 2020.
